The holidays are officially over. If you’re not back to work by today, it’s either you took extra days of holiday or your workplace is the softest place ever.
All work to chase the bag has officially started today. If you want to chase the bag the way you did last year, then it’s no doubt that you’ll get nothing more than what you got last year.
In the next few paragraphs, I will be sharing practical tips on how to work better in 2025, especially for people who work in the corporate world whether onsite or remotely.
These tips are no magic. They are key ingredients to achieving great feats in your career this year. As a worker just like you, I have gathered these tips from different sources and experts even from sermons on the mount. However, the following tips are a consensus from all what various experts have to say.
1. Add more value
There’s no limitation to what adding value can do for you in your career. It is a golden buzzer that gives you rewards. Do not carry out your tasks monotonously. Employ creative means to go about it. Take on neglected tasks. That’s where adding value comes in.
2. Pose problems with solutions
I got this tip from one of the sermons on the mount I attended. Identifying problems is good enough but providing solutions alongside them proves you are innovative.

3. Effective scheduling
This is very important because it will help reduce stress and anxiety. Schedule your tasks according to your time and avoid procrastination. This year should not be one that you have multiple backlogs. Attend to tasks as steady as possible.
4. Dress well and smell nice
Looking good should be your priority. Avoid dressing in a sense that depicts something other than excellence. The word steeze is stale now but dress in a way that depicts that. For remote workers that do not have their baths not to talk of dressing well, remember the Lord is watching you.
5. Get certifications
Your mantra in 2025 should be one of excellence. This year, you should actually get more certifications and qualifications. For you to be better, you have to increase your knowledge database. Don’t be stagnant.
6. Ask for a raise
Suspect has been receiving the same salary for 5 years now.
As you work more and perform your duties smartly, you also deserve a raise. The truth of the matter is some employers are actually oblivious about what you want as a worker. Make your demands known to them. Ask for a raise and do that highlighting your integral contribution to the workforce. Also, learn negotiation skills.
These are a few tips that can help you become a great employee and can even bag you an employee of the year. Read books, explore, and have a global mindset while dealing with your affairs. Tailor your actions to your goals and live right.
