Hamiltonās immediate focus will be adapting to Ferrariās culture, car, and operations. Before the season opener in Melbourne from March 14-16, he will undergo simulator sessions and test a 2023 car. Ferrari plans to unveil their 2025 car on February 19, just ahead of pre-season testing in Bahrain on February 26-28.
Ferrari team principal FrĆ©dĆ©ric Vasseur acknowledged the challenge but expressed confidence in Hamiltonās abilities. “He brings experience and maturity,” Vasseur said, emphasising the importance of Hamiltonās first six weeks with the team.
Meanwhile, the 2025 season is shaping up to be a thrilling contest. Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes are all expected to battle fiercely for the championship.
With Hamilton and Leclerc forming a formidable duo, Ferrari hopes to reclaim their status as the dominant force in Formula 1.
