FULL LIST: Ambassadors-designate nominated by Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has submitted a list of 32 ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

The announcement was made on Saturday in a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.

According to the statement, the nominees—17 non-career and 15 career diplomats—will be assigned to countries and international bodies central to Nigeria’s foreign policy interests.

Once confirmed, the envoys are expected to take up postings in key diplomatic locations, including China, India, South Korea, Canada, Mexico, the UAE, Qatar, South Africa, and Kenya, as well as multilateral missions such as the United Nations, UNESCO, and the African Union. The specific assignments will be communicated after the Senate’s approval.
