Students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), to resume on Sunday with the commencement of lectures leading to the completion of the First Semester on Monday.
In a statement by FUTA’s Registrar, Mr Richard Arifalo on Thursday, the Senate of the institution approved a revised academic calendar for the continuation of the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

According to him, the approval was given at a Special Meeting of the Senate held on Wednesday.
The management wished all students a safe trip back to the institution’s campus.
The resumption date is coming following the suspension of the eighth-month strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU).
