Game Consoles: The evolution of Sega, PlayStation, Xbox through the years


The world of gaming has come a long way since the days of Pong and the Atari 2600.

Game consoles can be described as computer system specially made for playing video games by connecting it to a television or other display for video and sound.

The control or monitoring unit of a computer, containing the keyboard or keys, switches, etc.

Over the years, game consoles have evolved significantly, and this evolution has been marked by technological advancements, fierce competition, and the ever-growing demands of gamers.

Early Days of Console Gaming (1970s-1980s)

The late 1970s saw the birth of the first commercially successful home video game console, the Atari 2600.
