The problematic issues of some websites are related to the possibility of using the features of Google Chrome, such as notifications and permissions, for scams and malicious offers. Of course, Chrome already has protection to prevent such action, and it has just come up with even more protection measures to ensure more safety.

Among these, the following are some changes that have been made to include new features; Enhanced Safety check: runs in the background. It removes authorizations from inactive sites, approves untrusted notifications, and warns users of security threats. Chrome will also warn about risky extensions on the desktop and give an instant removal button. : As always, Safety Check checks if your browser is updated, scans passwords for weaknesses and offers to tweak settings of Safe Browsing.

Managing unwanted website notifications has become easier. On Pixel devices, and soon on more Android devices, you can now unsubscribe directly from the notification drawer. When you see an unwanted notification, just expand it and click “Unsubscribe” to block that website. Additionally, Chromeā€™s one-time permissions for Android and Desktop allow you to grant permissions, like camera or microphone access, to a site for just a single use, giving you more control over your privacy.

While these updates wonā€™t solve all online security issues, they make it easier to take action and prevent more serious problems. The new features will gradually roll out to all Chrome browsers.
