Gov Aiyedatiwa to procure vehicles, gadgets for security agencies

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has announced plans to procure vehicles and equipment for security agencies to bolster safety measures. 

This was revealed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, following a meeting with top security officials in Akure.

Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasised the urgency of strengthening the state’s security infrastructure and pledged support by providing essential tools, particularly operational vehicles, to enhance mobility and responsiveness to security threats.

He also highlighted previous efforts, such as distributing vehicles to Permanent Secretaries, to improve operational efficiency.

The governor reaffirmed his commitment to citizens’ welfare, citing measures to alleviate economic challenges, including providing palliatives and shuttle buses.

Furthermore, Aiyedatiwa demonstrated his support for the legislative arm by presenting official vehicles to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

Collaboration among stakeholders was underscored as crucial for the state’s overall development. 

Speaker Olamide Oladiji commended the Governor for fulfilling his promise, noting the vehicles’ significance in their legislative duties and fostering stronger inter-branch relations. 

The event was attended by Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government Tayo Oluwatuyi, and Chief of Staff Prince Segun Omojuwa.
