Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has ordered the immediate suspension of all consultancy services and related providers within the State’s public service.
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, the governor directed that all financial transactions and services involving the affected consultants and providers be halted with immediate effect.
He added that these transactions and services would remain suspended pending the submission of a report by the Review Committee established for this purpose.

“All Accounting Officers, Heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies are expected to take note and comply strictly with this directive.”
