Governor AbdulRazaq appoints 5 permanent secretaries, reshuffle others


Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed five new Permanent Secretaries in the State Service as well as reshuffled eleven others.

This was made known in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary in the office of the State Head of Service, Murtala Atoyebi.

According to the statement, the new Permanent Secretary are; Alhaji Abdullahi Kayode Wahab, Ministry of Works and Transport; Mr Ayowade Peter Kayode, Ministry of Social Development; Mrs Oluyomi Esther Folasayo, Political and Cabinet, Office of Secretary to the State Government; Alhaji Abdullahi Mao Mohammed, Housing and Urban Development, and Mrs Funke Sokoya, Ministry of Solid Minerals. 

However, the redeployed ones are: Okanlawon Olarewaju Musa moved from the Ministry of Solid Minerals to Women Affairs; Mrs Saidu Habidat Salman from the Ministry of Tertiary Education to Energy, Mrs Ibrahim Hafsat Adenike was moved from the  Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to Environment and Mrs Rebecca Bake of Social Development to Education.

Also, Alhaji Olokooba Isiaka Yinka moved from the Ministry of Works to Agriculture; Mrs Samuel Elizabeth Keatswa from the Bureau of Statistics to Environment; Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed of Water Resources to Communications and Mrs Adeosun Mary Kemi moved from the Ministry of Education to Business, Innovation and Technology.

Others are; Alhaja Grillo Sabitiyu Kikeloma, Political & Cabinet, Office of Secretary to the State Government return to Ministry of Tertiary Education: Alh Alabere Razaq Babatunde of Ministry of Energy to Ministry of Youths Development while Mrs Asonibare Omolola Christiana formerly of Ministry of Communications takes charge of Min of Water Resources.

Governor AbdulRazaq directed the Permanent Secretaries to resume at their respective new ministries with immediately effect.
