Nigerian music star Burna Boy did not clinch the Best Global Music Album award at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
His project, No Sign of Weakness, was edged out by Brazilian legends Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethânia, who won with Caetano e Bethânia Ao Vivo.

Other nominees in the category included Sounds Of Kumbha by Siddhant Bhatia, Eclairer le monde – Light the World by Youssou N’Dour, Mind Explosion (50th Anniversary Tour Live) by Shakti, and Chapter III: We Return to Light by Anoushka Shankar featuring Alam Khan & Sarathy, and Korwar.
This loss comes after Burna Boy was earlier beaten in the Best African Music Performance category, where South African singer Tyla won with Push 2 Start, defeating him, Davido and Ayra Starr.
