Manchester United have said striker, Mason Greenwood remains suspended by the club, pending the outcome of the judicial process over his attempted rape and assault charge.
This is following the latest criminal charges brought against the England striker by the Crown Prosecution Service.
“Manchester United notes that criminal charges have been brought against Mason Greenwood by the Crown Prosecution Service.
“He remains suspended by the club, pending the outcome of the judicial process,” a statement from Man United reads.

The 21-year-old will be facing charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling behaviour and assault.
The forward was arrested in January following allegations that emerged in images and videos posted online. He was arrested again on Saturday for allegedly breaching his bail.
According to the prosecutors, the charges all related to the same female complainant. Greenwood is due at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The 21-year-old has made one appearance for the senior England men’s team. He has not played or trained with Manchester United since his arrest.
Nike also ended its sponsorship deal with him and Electronic Arts removed him from active squads on its Fifa 22 game.
