According to a report by SPORT on Monday, the separation is ā€œtotally cordial, stable, and friendly.ā€ The couple reportedly grew apart after living in different countries for several years due to Guardiolaā€™s managerial career.

Guardiola and Serra, who met in 1994 and married in 2014 near Barcelona, have three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17. Serra has been residing in Barcelona with Valentina, while Guardiola continues to live in Manchester.

Serra, a Brazilian journalist, left Manchester in 2019 to focus on her familyā€™s fashion business, Serra Claret. Despite the distance, she was occasionally seen with Guardiola at public events last year.
