Organisers of the Gulder Ultimate Search have picked Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi as the taskmaster for this edition.
The Nigerian reality television show organisers decided to pick Remi who was the winner of the 7th edition of the show in 2010.

The actor made the announcement via a video on his Instagram page.
He captioned the video:
“#GulderUltimateSearch is back and I’ll be your taskmaster. Are you ready to go on this journey with me?
“Have you answered the call? Follow @thegulderultimatesearch and register now at www.gulderultimatesearch.ng.”
It was gathered during the week that the registration website for the Gulder Ultimate Search reality TV show crashed due to the high volume of traffic of applicants.
The development came barely five days after the organisers announced the return of the show.
Officials confirmed that the cause of the crash was a “higher-than-expected level of traffic from prospective applicants who thronged the website to register for the show”.
Gulder Ultimate Search which borders on the survival instincts of contestants, was launched in 2004 and ran for 11 seasons before going off-air in 2014.
Remi who is best known for his roles in Nollywood movies like Falling, Family Forever, and the soap opera, Tinsel, came to prominence after winning the 7th edition of Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010.
He studied acting at the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, and graduated in 2014. This was followed by a stint learning film making and direction from the same academy, and graduating in 2015.
Remi started acting professionally in 2011, after winning Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010. His first major role was in Heavy Beauty, produced by Grace Edwin Okon, and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare.
Later, he starred in several films, TV series, and stage plays, including Family Forever, Tinsel, Lagos Cougars Reloaded, The Getaway, Falling, and Africa Magic’s Forbidden.
He has been featured in a number of Africa Magic Original Films.
While studying at the New York Film Academy, Remi worked as a TV host for an Internet TV channel, Celebville 360. His first appearance was reporting live at the Academy Awards nomination event in Beverly Hills, California.
He is also a model after starting his modeling career with ISIS models and featured in ad campaigns for brands such as Airtel Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, DStv, and Diamond Bank.
