Foremost Nigerian content creator and skit maker Chukwuebuka Amuzie, professionally known as Brain Jotter, has reacted to the viral report about the potential exploitation of Mike Ejeaghaās 1983 hit song āGwo Gwo Gwo Ngwoā.
News Round The Clock (NRTC) reports that the song recently received renewed attention following the trending dance challenge originated by Brain Jotter.

The video has been viewed 29.1 million times with over 30,000 comments on Instagram, and 19.6 million views with over 23,000 comments on TikTok.
The 93-year-old Ejeagha and his song became a subject of interest for netizens, with goodwill pouring in. Brain Jotter offered him N2 million.
For some, it was a generous sum. While many accused Brain Jotter of copyright infringement.
However, reacting to the accusations on Tuesday in a viral video, he said, āFor those thinking we ripped him off or making money from this whole thing, I understand your concerns and they are very valid.
āI appreciate the fact that you want him to get value for his hard work, which is very valid, and I want you to understand that you are doing something good
āAt the end of the day, no dime was made from this song by me, nothing like that. The N2 million I gave him was from my personal hard earned money. I did that just for humanity and not for profit.ā
