Helicopter crashes in Lagos state (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, August 1, a helicopter crashed into a building in Oba Akran, Ikeja in Lagos state.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

According to reports gathered, the incident occurred at 3:30 pm adjacent to AP Filling Station, and United Bank For Africa, Oba Akran.

The aircraft burst into flames near Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), its destination.

News Round The Clock (NRTC) gathered that the pilots of the helicopter were rescued.

However, there is no information on whether or not there were other passengers on board.

Responders from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were on ground at the time of filing this report.
