“You’re inspiring millions,” Atiku hails chef Hilda Baci on Guinness World Record


The former vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has hailed Hilda Baci, a now-popular Nigerian chef who is on a mission to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.

Atiku via his Twitter handle said Hilda has inspired millions of Nigerians by showcasing her strength of human spirit.

He prayed Hilda’s energy remained unbroken, as she was on the brink of making history, saying Nigeria believes in her.

Atiku tweeted: “We see you, Chef Hilda, standing at the crossroads of history, ready to carve your name in the annals of world records. This is no easy feat, but we believe wholeheartedly in your grit and your passion.

“You are inspiring millions by showcasing the strength of the human spirit. May your energy remain unbroken, for you are on the brink of making history. We believe in you. Nigeria believes in you. -AA.”

Hilda is on a mission to cook multiple dishes for hours to get recognition from the Guinness World Records ā€“ currently getting massive support since she started her cooking project ā€œCook-a-thonā€.

At the time of filing this report, chef Hilda is seeking to break the Guinness World Record for cooking held by an Indian chef Lata Tandon, who for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019.
