Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has gone on her Instagram live to explain why she made the decision not to attend the meet and greet session organized by a restaurant located in Abuja.
Earlier, News Round The Clock reported that, the management of Vibe By Annās, a restaurant located at Atabara Street, Wuse, Abuja, vowed to take legal action against Hilda Effiong Bassey, who is better known as chef Hilda Baci over the denial of pre-planned meet-and-greet.
The Abuja-based restaurant in an e-flier shared on its Instagram page showed that Chef Baci planned a meet-and-greet to charge N25,000 for personal meet-ups, live cooking, and food tasting in the restaurant on June 24, 2023.

The Akwa Ibom-born chef has now taken to her Instagram live to defend herself with āreceiptsā after being sued by an event planner for allegedly collecting N3million for a meet-and-greet.
Speaking via her IG platform, Hilda Baci explained why she pulled out of the show after realising that it was built around her.
The chef who got a spot at limelight after attempting to etch her name in Guinness World Record for longest cooking, admitted that she got paid, but said it was for an appearance at a show she felt will have other celebrities and events.
She said she opted to refund the event planner after realizing that it was an event about her. The chef also revealed that if sheās having an event to meet her fans, she will make it free and not charge money.
