Popular Nigerian TikTok personality, Peller, has revealed that actress Funke Akindele supported him during a difficult period when he was in detention.
The social media star made this known on Saturday while speaking at the premiere of the movie Love Notes.
During the event, he was seen exchanging greetings with Funke Akindele and used the moment to appreciate her publicly.
Peller was arrested in December 2025 following an alleged staged car accident in Lagos State.
Reports at the time stated that the incident led to his arrest after the Federal Road Safety Corps stepped in.

The agency ordered that he should be taken into custody and prosecuted over claims of reckless driving linked to the accident.
The matter drew attention online, with many of his followers reacting to the development.
After spending time in detention, he later regained his freedom.
Speaking at the movie premiere, Peller explained that Funke Akindele played a key role in helping him during that period.
He said she assisted him while he was in prison and supported him at a time when he needed help.
Peller said: “she was the one who helped me when I was in prison. She was the one who helped my life.”
