Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has spoken on her past and her spiritual transformation while addressing worshippers at a gospel programme in Tanzania.
During the event, she shared that there was a time in her life when she felt lost and unsure about her path.
She explained that in those years, she made decisions she now regrets, including getting involved in a cult and engaging in activities she described as working with dark forces.
She said those experiences were part of a period when she was searching for meaning and direction.
She went on to explain that she later realised that those choices did not offer her anything meaningful, and she began to turn away from that lifestyle.
According to her, a major change came when she felt called by God, which led her back to her faith and gave her a new purpose.

The actress also shared that she believes God has given her a new assignment, which includes spreading the gospel.
Her message at the event was received warmly by those present, who reacted with excitement and support.
She said: “I joined a cult and worked with a demon. At the midst of trying to navigate life, I’ve dipped my hands in so much filth and dirt. I was lost and searching for direction. I know who he is, and I know that he doesn’t have anything for me anymore. God said He would take me back and clean me up, and that He would put me on altars to preach His gospel. My first assignment was to clean His house, and I questioned it at first because I have people who clean my home, but He told me cleaning His house would cleanse me from the inside out. I dropped the name ‘King’ out of obedience to the Holy Spirit.”
