Skitmaker Lawal Nasiru, popularly called Nasboi, has revealed that he identifies as both a Muslim and a Christian.
Born to a Yoruba Muslim father and a Christian mother from Warri, Nasboi said his upbringing shaped his neutral approach to religion.
Growing up in Port Harcourt and studying at the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom, he shared that he never felt connected to tribal or religious divisions.
He explained that his family background and life experiences allowed him to embrace both faiths without bias.

When asked directly about his religion, Nasboi described himself as following both Islam and Christianity.
“My papa Yoruba, my mama Warri. My papa Muslim, my mama Christian.
“I was born and raised in Port Harcourt. I studied at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom. This is why I can never relate to tribalism or all the religious agendas. I am Christmus [both Christian and Muslim],” he wrote on his X page.
