Controversial internet personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has denied involvement in a viral image suggesting a connection with Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing, who is rumoured to be pregnant.
The photo, widely shared online, showed VDM apparently placing his hand on the actress’s belly.
VDM clarified that the image is fabricated and generated using artificial intelligence.
He stated that he has never met Nkechi Blessing and that the picture was created to damage his reputation.

The activist urged the public to disregard the image and warned against believing false content circulating on social media.
He also speculated that the actress’s visible belly in the photo might be due to the use of multiple weight-loss products rather than pregnancy.
VDM used the occasion to call for caution against misinformation and online harassment. He encouraged Nigerians to avoid sharing false content and to protect each other from cyberbullying.
He wrote: “I will like to address this picture going viral,fellow Nigerians I am not the man responsible for her pregnancy if she is,I have never met her in my life and I am sure I won’t be willing to meet her ever please disregard this picture because it is a fake picture to tarnish my reputation,I am certain this is A.i…. Also In my humble opinion I think it is the combination of different slimming products that is in that belle…”
