Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has brought Wizkid and Davido together on his debut album, aiming to foster peace amid their long-standing rivalry.
The 23-track album, released on October 6, features Wizkid on “Big Time” and both Davido and Seun Kuti on “Grooving.”
Fans were quick to react to the collaboration, given the public feud between the two superstars that reignited in October 2024 after Wizkid mocked Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State.
Odumodublvck explained that featuring both artistes was a deliberate move to avoid taking sides. He carefully arranged the tracklist to place them on consecutive songs as part of his plan.
He spoke in an interview with ATTW Space.

The rapper said his goal was to encourage peace and mutual respect, regardless of the origins of their disagreement or the possibility of reconciliation.
Both Wizkid and Davido contributed to the album without requesting payment.
Odumodublvck revealed that the song featuring Wizkid was not originally his; the singer gifted it to him, showing support for the project.
The rapper hopes that his work might inspire the two stars to mend their relationship in the future.
He said: “Those guys, Davido and Wizkid, are men. They are real men. At the end of the day, when we all get to the gates of heaven, whether Davido and Wizkid are inside or not, if I’m standing at the entrance asking why I wasn’t allowed in, and it’s because I supported either Wizkid or Davido, that wouldn’t make any sense,” he said.
“Did I know the foundation of their disagreement? Or can I tell if they’ll reconcile tomorrow?
“God said, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall inherit the kingdom of God.’
“Now, I put them on tracks five and six. By God’s grace, for my own agenda, I hope that one day both of them will find it in their hearts to be friends again. That’s what it’s about.”
“Both of them know they’re on my album, but they are there by the grace of God and out of respect for my hustle, because I didn’t pay them, not a dime,” he added.
“The song I featured Wizkid on wasn’t originally mine, he gave it to me. I didn’t record it and send it to him; he gifted it to me.”
