Afrobeats star Davido, has revealed that he has shifted away from the fast-paced party lifestyle that marked his early career.
The singer said he now focuses on rest, family, and a more peaceful daily routine.
During a conversation on The LongForm Podcast on YouTube, Davido reflected on how fame at a young age brought freedom, money, and influence, which naturally drew him into nights filled with clubs and constant outings.
He admitted that visiting clubs was once a regular part of life for him and his friends, something they considered normal at the time.
Now, Davido said that phase is behind him.

During a recent two-month stay in Nigeria, he said barely left home and found joy in quiet indoor activities, saying his current days are filled with studio work, relaxing at home, and spending time with close friends in small gatherings.
Simple activities like recording music, hosting a barbecue, or staying at home have become more enjoyable to him than the loud parties of the past.
Family has also taken a central role in his routine, as he makes time to go home, check on his wife, and rest whenever possible.
He described this lifestyle as calm and simple, yet fulfilling.
He said: “That freedom, power, and money at that young age, I was like, I used to wild out, man, but like these days, like, I don’t even go to the club, bro like, I’m telling you, I used to go to the club every day. Like, we used to, it was like, it was part of us, like, we’re going somewhere to be.
“I’d go to, like, my studio, chill, like, have somebody come barbecue. You know what I’m saying? like, that’s fun to me. I just chill. Before I knew it, it’s 3.30 a.m., 4 a.m. Just relaxing at home.
“I have to go home, I call my wife, I sleep off on FaceTime, Like, it was boring stuff, bro”.
