Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has revealed her thoughts on body enhancement, particularly the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
She said she admires the procedure and enjoys seeing women with well-shaped bodies but admitted she cannot go through it herself because she cannot handle the pain.
The actress explained that she believes it is fine for women to enhance their appearance surgically, but it is important to be cautious and avoid overdoing it.
She shared that while she likes the results of BBL and liposuction, she personally lacks the courage to undergo the procedure.

She said: “I love to see beautiful women with beautiful bodies. I actually like BBL, the skinny ones not the big ones. I love the flat tummy and liposuction. I want to do it but I don’t have the mind,” Akindele said while featuring in a recent episode of The Morayo Show.
“I am not against BBL. If you want to enhance your beauty, go ahead but don’t overdo things. Be careful,” she added.
Funke also reflected on the impact of fame on her personal life.
She described herself as a passionate and strict person who values discipline, which has sometimes caused her to distance herself from people she cared for.
She said maintaining a top position in her career comes with loneliness because staying disciplined and focused can make friendships difficult.
She admitted that managing relationships remains a learning process for her, but she prioritizes her mental well-being and self-care above all else.
She said: “It is actually lonely at the top because if you want to remain at the top, you have to be guarded and disciplined. It is going to be very boring because you won’t have friends.”
