The security architecture in Nigeria will be restructured so as to tackle insecurity, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has vowed to if elected as president in the February 25 election.
Obi said this on Wednesday as his campaign hit Kaduna State, two days after his appearance at the Chatham House in the United Kingdom where he presented his policies.
The former Anambra State governor said Kaduna ought to be most secure place but has turned to where people can no longer sleep with their eyes closed.

He added that he would work with his vice, Datti (Baba-Ahmed) to secure, unite Nigeria and make Kaduna State retain its position as hosts the best and biggest military formation.
Obi said insecurity is on rampage due to lack of leadership, not because bandits are more formidable than the government.
His words: “We will restructure the security governance architecture. We will get more people into the security system and ensure that our security people are well cared for.”

He further let out that the lives of security personnel would be insured in case anything happened to them on duty, their families will be well taken care of.
He said if elected, the vast land in the northern region of the country will be turned into an agricultural field, saying jobs will be created from there for youths who are unemployed.
