Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has expressed concern over Romeo Lavia following the 19-year-old’s debut against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
Lavia was a £58 million summer acquisition from Southampton and made a much anticipated debut in the league encounter.
He came on as a second-half substitute as the home side fought hard to earn a deserved 2-1 victory.

Lavia did a decent job in the middle of the part after his introduction but he got a couple kicks. Pochettino has now expressed played some sort of concern following the match stating the player may have suffered an injury.
“I’m a little bit worried about Romeo Lavia,” Pochettino said after the match.
“He finished with some issues, but I hope it’s not a big issue”.
According to reports, this issue Pochettino referred to may be the Belgian’s thigh.
