Dami Marshall, the daughter of Fuji music star King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, known widely as KWAM1, has cleared the air over her connection with Nigerian singer Asake.
The clarification comes after rumours emerged that the two were in a romantic relationship.
Dami and Asake were seen together in a photograph taken at a recent event.
Dami captioned the Instagram post “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” which sparked speculation about a romantic relationship.

However, Dami, in a post via her Instagram page on Monday, dismissed the rumours of dating Asake.
She explained that the image was from the very first time she met Asake and stressed that there was nothing romantic between them.
She asked her fans not to trust rumours from blogs that sometimes share things simply to gain attention or draw online viewers.
She wrote: “Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic.”
