Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche, has reacted to claims that he uses church money to fund his personal lifestyle.
He spoke during a church service, where he addressed those linking his clothes, watches and other personal items to church funds. He made it clear that church money is not used for his private needs.
According to him, since the church was founded, neither he nor his family members have had access to the church cheque book.
He also said that income from books, CDs and other ministry materials does not go into his personal spending.
The cleric explained that he has never used money from church sales or offerings to buy clothes, ties, socks or any other item for himself.

He stated that his personal needs are taken care of without touching church accounts, and he has no strong attachment to material things.
He added that many items given to him as gifts, including clothes and shoes, have remained unused for a long time, while others have been given out to people.
Pastor Enenche told church members to focus on God and spiritual growth instead of chasing material wealth.
He said: “Some people will see a suit or a watch and say, ‘church money.’ That is mumu-ishness of sense.
“From day one till now, church cheque book is not in our possession.
“Not one naira of it has been used to buy a tie or socks; how much more church offering?
“I gave out about 200-and-something suits in one day. Go, it’s enough.
“Let’s stop living for things and start living for God and the kingdom. When you do, the things people are chasing will start chasing you.”
Dunamis International Gospel Centre was founded in 1996 and has its headquarters in Abuja, where the Glory Dome serves as the main worship centre.
