“It is time to break down barriers” – Remi Tinubu calls for inclusive social justice

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has called for greater inclusivity, urging Nigerians to remove obstacles that prevent social justice.

In a statement marking the International Day of Social Justice on Thursday, Mrs. Tinubu highlighted the need for collective efforts to ensure that every citizen, especially those from marginalized communities, has a fair chance to succeed.

Reflecting on this year’s theme, “Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps for Social Justice,” she reaffirmed her commitment to a Nigeria where opportunities are not determined by gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic background.

“This day offers another opportunity to reflect on the progress made and acknowledge the challenges that remain in the journey towards social justice,” she noted, calling for renewed efforts to foster equality across all sectors of society.
