Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken her case to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, following her encounter with officers of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCC).
The complaint, submitted on July 29, 2025, was filed by her lawyers, The Maverick Forte Legal.
Ojo claimed that during her recent visit to the Force Headquarters in Abuja, a civilian known as VeryDarkMan was allowed into the interrogation room while she was being questioned.
According to her, the man is already facing a separate legal matter where she stands as a witness, and should not have been involved in her session.
She also pointed fingers at the Commissioner of Police, Ifeanyi Henry Uche, accusing him of giving access to VeryDarkMan because of a personal relationship.

She said this act breached proper procedures and further raised concerns after private information from the session was leaked online by the same individual.
The actress expressed her refusal to continue with the ongoing process in Abuja, asking for her case to be moved to Lagos for what she described as a fresh and neutral investigation.
Ojo was initially invited by the police over her public accusations against singer Naira Marley, whom she linked to the death of fellow artist Mohbad.
