JAMB registers over 1.29m candidates for 2025 UTME as deadline nears

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that a total of 1,290,715 candidates have so far registered for the ongoing 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The update was published in the Board’s official bulletin.

Prospective candidates are reminded that the registration deadline remains March 8, 2025, while the sales of e-PINs will end on March 5, 2025.

The registration figures recorded in each week so far are:

  • Week 1: 201,867 candidates
  • Week 2: 560,025 candidates
  • Week 3: 528,823 candidates

With less than two weeks remaining, those yet to register are urged to complete the process as soon as possible. Candidates are advised to download and fill out the registration template before proceeding and carefully review the necessary requirements for a successful registration.
