The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock test held on Saturday, March 28.
This was disclosed on Tuesday in a statement issued by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement, “Candidates can check their results by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number (SIM) used during registration for the 2026 UTME.”
Data from the board shows that 224,597 candidates registered for the mock exercise, while 152,586 eventually participated across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
Following the conduct of the examination, JAMB said it has blacklisted over 20 CBT centres due to technical shortcomings observed during the exercise.
The board also cautioned candidates against falling victim to fraudsters, particularly those on WhatsApp, who claim they can manipulate or boost UTME scores.
JAMB emphasised that such activities are illegal and warned that offenders risk strict penalties, including the cancellation of their registration or withdrawal of their results if caught.
Candidates have also been reminded that the main UTME is set to commence on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
