He finished with 56 points, 16 rebounds and 15 assists, becoming the first NBA player ever to reach 55-15-15 in a single game.
The Nuggets needed every contribution, especially in overtime, where Jokic poured in 18 points and shattered Steph Curry’s previous overtime scoring record.

Minnesota had forced the extra period with a fierce late surge, erasing a 15-point deficit in the closing minutes. Anthony Edwards led their charge brilliantly with 44 points, including a stunning late three that pushed the game beyond regulation.
However, overtime unraveled for the Minnesota Timberwolves as Edwards was ejected after protesting foul calls, and Denver seized control. The defending champions ultimately showed composure, while the result kept them firmly placed near the top of the Western Conference standings, leaving Minnesota just behind in fifth.
