Judy Austin claims her previous marriage ended before she met Yul Edochie

In April 2022, Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie unveiled his colleague, Judy Austin as his second wife after disclosing that they have a child together. The announcement at the time stunned Nigerians and fans of the Nollywood thespian across the globe.

Edochie’s revelation was met with criticism from fans and even some members of his family. Despite the backlash, the renowned thespian who is the son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie maintained that Austin is his second wife.

The disclosure led numerous pundits to allege that Judy and Yul have been having an affair before her marriage ended in 2013.

However, Judy has taken to her Instagram platform to disregard to the allegations.

She said contrary to the rumours, her previous marriage ended years before she met Yul who later married her as his second wife.

The thespian disclosed this in a video message shared via her Instagram page.

Judy Austin said, “My previous marriage ended in March 2013. And I set my eyes on Yul Edochie for the first time, years after my marriage was completely dissolved.

“So, anyone saying otherwise, they are plainly lying. If I’m lying, if I saw Yul while in my previous marriage, let all the curses that people have been heaping on me, let it happen to me billion times over.

“But if for any reason, I’m saying the truth, if I saw Yul for the first time years after my marriage was completely dissolved, let all the curses go back to the people laying the curses a billion times over.”
