There are indications that the ongoing strike by organised labour unions may end soon, as the federal government and union representatives have reached an agreement.

The agreement was reached at a meeting convened with labor representatives in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation on June 3, with the aim of ending the strike.

After exhaustive deliberations and engagement by both parties, the following resolutions were reached.
