JUST IN: No evidence Tinubu forged CSU certificate, says BBC

The British Broadcasting Corporation’s (BBC) disinformation team has released a report addressing the allegations surrounding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s academic credentials.

The report, titled ‘Bola Tinubu diploma: No evidence Nigeria’s president forged college record,’ has affirmed that there is no proof indicating that President Tinubu falsified his certificate.

The controversy erupted on social media after Chicago State University (CSU) publicly disclosed President Tinubu’s academic records.

These records came to light as a result of a legal lawsuit initiated by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), one of President Tinubu’s main opponents in the February presidential election.
