Kadaria Ahmed is a journalist, media entrepreneur and television host. Although she was born in Nigeria, she also has British citizenship. She was born to Hafsat Abdulwaheed and Muhammad Ahmad Abdulwaheed. Hafsat Abdulwaheed is reportedly the first female author from Northern Nigeria. Kadaria Ahmedās career as a journalist began with the BBC, in London. She is currently the CEO of RadioNow.
Education
Kadaria Ahmed earned her bachelors from Bayero University, Kano. She also has an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London and a Chevening Scholar.
Career
While at the BBC, she produced Focus on Africa and Africa Network. Upon returning to Nigeria, she became the editor Next newspaper and later worked with Channels TV.
To celebrate her 50th birthday, she embarked on Daria Workshop series to train students on journalism. She is also the founder of Daria Media.

Acting
She made her Nollywood acting debut last year. She made the announcement on her Twitter platform. Whether this is something she will do often, is still unclear.
Recently, she has been under fire on social media for her article titled, The BBC in Nigeria: Between Reporting and Propagating Terror. In the article, she accuses the BBC of sensationalism. She has since deactivated her Twitter account. However, this allegation is not new on Kadariaās slate. In 2021, she accused journalists of promoting ethnic hostility by covering crises involving the Fulani.
With experience spanning over 20 years, Kadaria remains one of the finest journalist to ever grace Nigerian media.
