Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has suspended the Managing Director of Kano Agricultural Supply Company (KASCO) Dr. Tukur Dayyabu Minjibir with immediate effect.
Dr Dayyabu was suspended for alleged involvement in an inappropriate sale of grains belonging to the state government.
The Managing Director suspension was contained in a letter dated 12th September, 2023 conveyed by the Secretary to the Kano State Government Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa confirmed.

Dr. Dayyabu was directed to handover the affairs of the company to the most senior officer immediately pending the outcome of further investigation.
Meanwhile, the governor also ordered a swift investigation as part of his commitment to zero tolerance for corruption.
