Nigerian Afrobeats star, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, widely known as Kizz Daniel, has refuted claims that his bank accounts were frozen.
In a statement released on Thursday, the singer dismissed the viral reports as false and described them as a smear campaign aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
The clarification comes after a story circulated online alleging that Kizz Daniel had been ordered to pay €200,000 in damages, which supposedly led to his assets being frozen.

The rumor spread quickly across social media platforms and entertainment blogs, sparking concerns among fans and stakeholders in the music industry.
The statement read in part, “Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story.”
Kizz Daniel, one of Nigeria’s most successful Afrobeats acts, is best known for hit songs such as Buga, Woju, and Lie.
He has gained widespread recognition both locally and internationally, amassing a strong following over the years.
