Filmmaker Ibrahim “Itele D Icon” Yekini’s thriller movie, Koleoso, has made history on YouTube, crossing over 100 million views.
He announced the milestone on his Instagram page on Thursday and celebrated the achievement with excitement.
Yekini revealed that Koleoso became the first Nollywood film and the first African movie to reach 100 million views on YouTube as a single title.
He stressed that the feat marked a groundbreaking moment in the industry.
“Let this be known that I, Ibrahim Yekini Bakare (Iteledicon), am the first to pull this stunt in the history of Nollywood. Do not deny me of my flower,” he wrote.

He declared that his team had secured victory from the very beginning.
“I am proud of myself, proud of my team, proud of my family,” Yekini remarked.

Koleoso, produced and directed by Itele D Icon, tells the story of a man whose past, family legacy, and spiritual debts catch up with him in a suspenseful chain of fiery events.
The storyline has earned praise for its fusion of tradition, power, betrayal, and retribution, layered with mystery and prophetic doom.
The thriller has advanced into its second season with 10 parts. The latest instalment, uploaded recently, broke YouTube records with nearly 10 million views.
The cast features Itele D Icon (Koleoso), Saliu Gbolagade (Osogbemi), Oluwakemi Apesin (Oshobola), Akinfolarin Olamide (Efun), and Yetunde Barnabas (Osun).
