Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as KWAM 1, is being investigated after an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said the situation happened during boarding for a ValueJet flight heading to Lagos.
The musician was reportedly stopped by airport security after trying to carry an unapproved liquid substance through security checks.
Despite being warned, he allegedly refused to follow instructions and poured the contents of his flask—later found to be alcohol—on a security officer.

The disturbance continued as the flight captain got involved and also met resistance.
Even after boarding was complete and the aircraft door was to be closed, KWAM 1 allegedly moved to the front of the plane and refused to leave, causing more delay.
He was eventually taken off the plane by airport security officials for questioning and was released afterward.
FAAN described the act as a breach of airport rules and confirmed that a full investigation is ongoing.
The agency restated its commitment to safety, order, and strict compliance with aviation standards across all Nigerian airports.
