The Kwara State Government has reiterated its commitment to citizens’ welfare through initiatives like the free transport palliative, which continues to alleviate transportation costs for residents.
Commissioner for Business, Innovation, and Technology, Damilola Adelodun, disclosed that over 500,000 kilometers have been covered since the programme’s inception, benefiting thousands of residents weekly within the Ilorin metropolis.
“The free transport initiative is a direct response to economic challenges, demonstrating Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s dedication to providing relief during these trying times,” she said.

He added that the programme has received overwhelming positive feedback from citizens.
