Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Tuesday announced plans to deploy additional vehicles across the state to facilitate movement, particularly for students.
His Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye mentioned that the government would soon distribute grains as a supportive measure.
Governor AbdulRazaq addressed the challenges arising from the removal of fuel subsidy and Federal government’s actions on foreign exchange, leading to inflation.

He said foreign exchange as a major concern, emphasising the government’s efforts to stabilize the Naira and address food price hikes.
Regarding the oil sector, the governor acknowledged increased production under President Bola Tinubu’s government, while also noting the pre-sale of future crude oil, affecting current market value.
He expressed the government’s commitment to resolving these issues and sought public understanding and support.

Governor AbdulRazaq assured that the government is actively countering insecurity, citing the swift arrest of abductors in Ekiti LG by combined security agencies.
