Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Managing Director of TVC Entertainment and host of Your View, has stirred conversation online after suggesting that President Bola Tinubu should take a leave of absence and allow former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to govern Nigeria for six months.
Her comments came in response to a viral video showing Obi at an event in Imo State on July 10, where he was seen carrying trays and serving food to guests.
The footage quickly circulated online, prompting mixed reactions. While some criticized Obi for allegedly engaging in a publicity stunt, others defended the act, saying it reflected a cultural practice common in Igbo traditions, unrelated to politics.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Morayo questioned Obi’s motives, describing his actions as “rather sickening” and indicative of desperation.
She wrote:
“Dear @officialasiwaajubat, please allow him become ppresident for 6 months while you take a leave of absence. Let’s even see what magic he wants to do. The desperation is rather sickening.”
Her statement has since generated discussions across social media platforms, with supporters and critics of both political figures weighing in.
