Paris Saint-Germain showcased their championship grit as they battled from two goals down to earn a pulsating 3-3 draw against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes.
The result ensured the reigning European and French champions remain top of Ligue 1, though only by a single point.
The match began with fireworks as Bradley Barcola fired PSG ahead inside six minutes, calmly slotting home after linking up with the lively Désiré Doué. However, Strasbourg refused to crumble and soon hit back through Joaquín Panichelli, who nodded in Guela Doué’s superb cross to level the score.
Before the break, the visitors took control when Diego Moreira beat the PSG defence and fired in from a tight angle, turning the game on its head. And just four minutes into the second half, Panichelli struck again, latching onto Moreira’s through-ball to make it 3-1, leaving the home fans stunned.
Ramos and Mayulu spark PSG’s spirited revival

Despite the setback, PSG dug deep and clawed their way back into contention. Their breakthrough came in the 58th minute after Strasbourg goalkeeper Mike Penders, on loan from Chelsea, tripped Désiré Doué in the box. Gonçalo Ramos stepped up and calmly buried the resulting penalty to reduce the deficit.

From that point, the momentum shifted. With constant pressure and precise passing, PSG began to stretch Strasbourg’s backline. Their persistence paid off again in the 79th minute when substitute Senny Mayulu followed up his own saved header to nod in the rebound.
Although the hosts pushed relentlessly for a winner, fortune wasn’t on their side. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia came agonisingly close, curling narrowly wide from distance as time ran out. Still, the draw showed PSG’s resilience and attacking depth, even without injured Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé.
PSG are now one point clear at the summit, while Strasbourg — led impressively by English manager Liam Rosenior — climbed to second, just ahead of Marseille and Lyon.
Next up, PSG travel to Germany on Tuesday to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, aiming to make it three wins from three in Europe’s elite competition.
