Inter Miami and MLS have announced Lionel Messi will be officially revealed by his new club on Sunday, July 16.
Messi left Paris Saint-Germain after the 2022/23 season and has been snapped up by the MLS side.
The presentation event is titled ‘The Unveil’ and is expected to take place at the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami.

An official statement released regarding the event confirms that the occasion will feature entertainment and speeches on the pitch. Further details are expected to be provided closer to the date.
Busquets to be presented as well
The event is also expected to include the presentation of Spanish midfielder and former Messi teammate Sergio Busquets.
Having recently announced Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino as their new coach, Inter Miami are presently finalizing the necessary paperwork needed for him to formally assume his new position.
Pending Martino’s official resumption, Javier Morales, another Argentine, will act as the interim coach for the team.
No win in nine games for Inter Miami

Meanwhile, Inter Miami are currently facing a tough season. The club sit pretty much at the bottom of the Eastern Conference following a nine-game winless run. They have recorded two draws and seven losses during this time.
