Liverpool have emerged as the most successful club in the Carabao Cup history after winning the trophy for the 9th time on Sunday.
The Reds beat Chelsea to the title on penalties after playing a goalless draw during regulation time winning the first domestic trophy of the English football season.
Kepa Arizabalaga, who was brought on in the closing moments of extra time, to help Chelsea win the penalty shootout, missed the decisive spot-kick after a magnificent game at Wembley Stadium came down to a shoot-out between Chelsea’s goalkeeper and his Liverpool counterpart, Caoimhin Kelleher.
Things you love to see.

Kelleher made it 11 penalties scored from 11 for Liverpool, but Kepa blazed wildly over the top in a high-class showpiece decided by the finest of margins after 21 successfully taken penalties.
Worth noting that in normal time, Chelsea had three goals disallowed for offside, of which one was questionable. The Blues, who recently won the Club World Cup trophy were left to rue two big misses by Mason Mount.
Chelsea would also have to be grateful for a magnificent display from keeper Edouard Mendy. Who produced a string of outstanding saves.
