Fans will have to wait yet again before witnessing French striker Kylian Mbappe’s first La Liga goal for Real Madrid after he failed to score on Sunday in Los Blancos’ rampant 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid.
Uruguayan Federico Valverde, Brahim Díaz and Brazilian youngster Endrick all scored second half goals to earn Madrid the much-needed win.
On matchday one, the reigning league champions played out a 1-1 draw following their visit to Mallorca. 30-year-old Kosovan striker Vedat Muriqi’s goal cancelled out Rodrygo’s 13th minute opener as both teams shared the spoils.

Mbappe has started both league matches but has not scored. The former PSG man scored his first Madrid goal when the Spanish side beat Atalanta 2-0 to win the UEFA Super Cup.
Valverde drew the first blood with his goal one minute before the hour mark. Mbappe then added a second nine minutes later to all but confirm the victory for Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will be on the road in their next league fixture as they face Las Palmas on Thursday.
Time for the clash is 20:30 GMT+1. Maybe Mbappe will open his Madrid account in the La Liga during the game.
