Meeting ‘role model’ Asisat Oshoala ‘dream come true’ – Loza Abera

Ethiopia women’s national football team captain, Loza Abera has expressed excitement after meeting Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala.

Abera led the Lucy to a 1-1 draw against the Super Falcons in a 2024 Olympic Games qualifier on Wednesday.

The second round first leg tie was played at the Abebe Bikila Stadium, Addis Ababa.

Abera took to social media to express her joy and excitement at the opportunity of finally meeting Oshoala.

“Unforgettable moment with a football icon⚽️🌟. Met Asisat Oshoala, and it’s a dream come true! Her talent on and off the field is inspiring,” Abera wrote on her X handle.

“She’s proof that with hard work, dedication, and passion, greatness is achievable. Thank you,Asisat,for being a role model!#AsisatOshoala,” she posted.

Ethiopia and Nigeria will play the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next Tuesday.
