Men contribute 95 per cent in failed marriages – Uche Ogbodo

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has sparked conversation online after sharing her views on the primary reasons marriages collapse.

The actress asserted that men are largely responsible for the breakdown of many unions, claiming they account for the overwhelming majority of failed marriages.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, she wrote, “Men contribute 95 per cent in failed marriages.

“Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives.”

Ogbodo further argued that a lack of accountability within relationships and the wider society continues to fuel the trend.

The actress is presently in her second marriage. She tied the knot with her partner and second baby daddy, Boby Maris, in October 2023. Her first marriage to Norway-based football agent Ato Ubby, contracted in 2013, ended less than a year later.
